The 6th SEACOOP Cooperation Forum has been successfully held on October 25, 2011 in Yangon, Myanmar, with the support of USCY (University of Computer Studies, Yangon), the SEACOOP partner in Myanmar.
The event aimed at going beyond the key SEACOOP message to Southeast Asian stakeholders “Get involved in FP7 proposals” in order that the greatest number of links can be established and smoothly develop, through the wider spectrum of policies, programmes, and mechanisms which the European Commission, in liaison with the ASEAN Secretariat and other institutions can offer.
On this occasion, the 8th SEACOOP Consortium and the 5th SEACOOP Advisory Committee meeting were also held in the same venue, on October 24.
The SEACOOP coordinator was also invited to contribute to the “European Union Research and Scholarship Workshop” organized by the European Commission and the Ministry for Education, Myanmar, on October 26 and 27 at the Traders Hotel in Yangon, an event focusing on the Erasmus Mundus programme of the European Commission.
